Active management
We often take an active role in managing our portfolio companies. This include implementing operational improvements, strategic guidance, and bringing in experienced management teams, all aimed at enhancing the value of the investee companies by achieving their intended goals.
Access to unique deals
We leverage our firm's strong network, reputation, and relationships to access exclusive deal flow that are often not available to individual investors.
Investment Process
When investing a five-step investment process is followed:
- 1
Letter of Intent (LOI)
Investors interested in investing in the fund are required to submit a letter of intent (LOI) to the fund manager, Alpha Plus Ventures Limited. The LOI should include the investor’s desired investment amount, personal or organizational information, including their name, address, PAN Number, contact information and bank details. Prior to submitting the LOI, we strongly advise investors to thoroughly assess the risks and rewards associated with investing in the fund and consult with their investment consultant or manager before making any investment decisions.
- 2
Know Your Client (KYC)
Once the investor submits the letter of intent to invest in the fund, the fund manager: Alpha Plus, shall provide a KYC form to the investor if they decide to include the investor in the fund. The investor will be required to fill out the KYC form and return it to the manager within a specified time frame as requested by the fund manager.
- 3
Supporting Documents
Investors are required to provide documents to verify their source of income, legal status, and other pertinent details. Once the KYC process is complete, Alpha Plus: the fund manager, will furnish investors with a comprehensive document checklist. These documents typically include a Permanent Account Number (PAN), tax clearance certificate, and citizenship certificate.
- 4
Approval and Payment
After the investor submits the required documents, the fund manager will carefully review and assess the application before making a decision on whether to accept the investment in the fund. If the fund manager approves the investment, the investor will receive an acceptance letter outlining the investment size, payment method, and payment periods. This acceptance letter marks the official entry of the investor into the fund.
- 5
Investment Agreement and Certificate Issuance
Upon approval and acceptance of the investment, both parties will proceed to sign an investment agreement, outlining the terms and conditions of the investment. Once the agreement is signed, the fund manager will issue a certificate to the unit holder, confirming their ownership in the fund. This certificate serves as tangible evidence of the investment and provides the unit holder with legal rights and privileges associated with their investment.
